Let me start off by saying how happy and excited I am that you are here, exploring this website and considering making the commitment to change your life for the better. One on one health coaching is the single most rewarding part of what I do, and I cannot tell you enough how honored and humbled I am when I am able to help people make positive changes that enrich and enhance their lives.

 

As a health coach my mission is to listen to you; what motivates you, what sets you back and what you feel is most important. I aim to explore not just your physical health, but your emotional and spiritual health as well. I believe that health is about balance, and wellness is about nurturing our entire being, not just our waistlines. During our time together I will ask a lot of questions. This helps me learn exactly who you are, what makes you tick and what motivates you. I will also answer questions and give suggestions, but my main goal is to empower you to create your own solutions. You are in the driver’s seat. You are 100% in charge. I am your co-pilot and together we can come up with a plan that you are not just comfortable following, but that you created! It is my belief that there is nothing more powerful than self discovery.

 

So, I should probably let you know from the get-go that I am not going to tell you what to do. I am not going to tell you specifically what you have to eat, or which exercises you must do. I don’t subscribe to any particular eating philosophy, other than eating whole, real food and I am a lover of ALL types of exercise. My motto is that the best type of diet and exercise plan is the one that you’ll actually do. And like. And feel good about. This may take some exploring, but rest assured WE WILL FIND IT!

 

I am not interested in bossing you around, shaming you in any way or blaming you for your struggles or set-backs. In fact, those things are pretty much the opposite of what I am about. As your health coach I consider myself a partner in your wellness journey, and I want to be leading you from behind, pushing you, lifting you up and cheering you on. This is a judgment free space.

 

With that being said, I can tell you that one of the first and most important things that I like to do with my clients is take some time to learn about your health history, your family history and what your major health concerns are at this moment. I also want to know what you already know about health and wellness. What have you tried before and loved, or hated? What are your biggest triggers for set-backs? Most people have a ton of knowledge about wellness, even if they don’t necessarily know how to put that knowledge to work…don’t worry, I’m here for you and work is my middle name. Nicole Work Rock. Not really, but that would be sweet.

 

The next step along our journey together will be discussing your personal life goals, health desires, and current health obstacles. From there, we put our heads together, start setting some clear, realistic and exciting goals and come up with a plan of action to not just reach them, but ROCK them!

 

The main difference between me and a lot of other health coaches is that I am a Registered Nurse. I did not just take an internet crash course and start handing out recipes and calling myself a health coach. Nursing is my career and my passion and prevention is my therapeutic goal. I want to help you reverse your pre-diabetes, get your cholesterol or blood pressure under control, avoid a cancer diagnosis, quit smoking, lose weight, learn healthy lifestyle strategies and ultimately prevent you from becoming one of the millions of people with chronic, preventable health problems.

 

Mix in a bunch of high-fives, laughter and maybe some tough love and you’ve got a pretty clear picture of what our partnership looks like.

We decide together how we can most efficiently address your health concerns and meet your wellness goals, without overwhelming your schedule.
